Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation
Programmes

Premier League Programmes

Nationally-backed programmes, funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund, delivered in the Harrogate community.

Premier League funding distributed by the Premier League Charitable Fund supports professional football club charities to deliver national Premier League programmes in their local communities. More than 2.5 million people have benefitted from this inclusive community activity to date.

Premier League Kicks

Premier League Kicks

Uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential, creating opportunities for those at risk of anti-social behaviour or youth violence, and from high-need areas, to engage in football, sport, mentoring and personal development.

Premier League Fans Fund

Premier League Fans Fund

Provides individual grants to strengthen connections between clubs, their fans and local communities, supporting fan-focused and fan-led projects that foster belonging — including schemes for under-represented groups to build an inclusive, welcoming matchday experience. Funding supports projects responding to local need, improving the matchday environment, addressing fan behaviour and tackling issues such as the cost-of-living crisis — often themed around equality, diversity and inclusion, mental and physical wellbeing, education, employability and sustainability.

Premier League PFA Core Fund

Premier League PFA Core Fund

Supports clubs to develop partnerships that tackle inequality and respond to local challenges. For 15 years it has enabled football club charities across England and Wales to deliver projects responding to local need. Delivered with local strategic partners and supported by current and former professional and academy players, inspiring communities to improve wellbeing, achieve their potential and develop the skills to succeed.

Premier League Primary Stars

Premier League Primary Stars

Launched in 2017, Premier League Primary Stars uses the appeal of football to inspire children aged 5–11 to be active and develop essential skills — providing opportunities to take part in more sport, supporting teachers with PE and active classroom learning, and raising engagement in PSHE, English and Maths.
